Are shipping costs included in the price?

Yes, absolutely. All prices include shipping costs within the Netherlands. No hidden fees or surprises at checkout.

How fast will my order be delivered?

Orders are processed and shipped within 1 business day of receipt. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. After shipping, your order is usually delivered within 1–2 business days via DHL.

Can I request a sample before ordering?

Yes, samples are available upon request — especially for retailers, restaurants, and food professionals. Please contact us via the contact form or send an email to info@therubkitchen.nl.

How long do the rubs last?

The rubs have a minimum shelf life of 12 months if stored in a dry and cool place. The exact best-before date is stated on the packaging. → Everything about storing dry rubs after opening

Do the rubs contain allergens?

This varies per rub. Carolina Gold and Memphis BBQ contain mustard. The Korean rub contains sesame seeds. The other rubs (Jamaican Jerk, Tex-Mex, Shawarma, and Toscana Fire) are free from the 14 EU allergens. → Complete allergen and ingredient overview

Do you also deliver outside the Netherlands?

Currently, we only deliver within the Netherlands. For international orders or business inquiries, please contact us — we are happy to discuss possibilities.

Are the rubs also suitable for other types of meat and fish?

What's included in my order?

You will receive your rub(s) in an A5 letterbox package. Including an information card with dosing advice, an oven preparation method, and a QR code to our website for extra recipes and tips.

How do I use a rub?

Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper. For skinless chicken breast, add a thin layer of neutral oil. Sprinkle the rub generously over the meat and massage it in well. How much rub do you use per kilo of meat?

Can you also use a BBQ rub in the oven?

Yes, absolutely. Our rubs work excellently in the oven. Use the same dosage as on the BBQ and bake at 180–200°C. For a crispy bark, turn on the grill for the last 5 minutes. → BBQ without a garden — oven, griddle & air fryer

Yes, all rubs contain only plant-based ingredients and are halal. No animal products or alcohol are used in production.
